Important Information
Beginning Sunday, September 7, we will have an Emergent (Contemporary) service at 8:45 a.m. and a Traditional service at 10:00 a.m. The evening service will be discontinued.
An itinerary and prayer requests are listed here for the Kenya Mission Trip on August 17-30.

Women's Bible Study will begin September 10 with a study of Believing God by Beth Moore or Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World by Joanna Weaver.
Adult Bible Study will begin September 14, from 8:30-9:45 a.m., with a study of the book of Acts using the Kerygma text Into the World:The Acts of the Apostles.
StrongFamilies® Class 100 Course will meet
Thursdays, September 18-November 6, 6:30-8:00 pm, in the Student Lounge.
We think you’ve got what it takes to be a StrongFamily! That’s why we are inviting you to take part in this class being offered right here. It’s an outstanding experience where you’ll laugh and learn biblical tools to gain even more closeness, caring skills and commitment in your most important relationships. Join us and grow as a family!
Floresta: On September 21, Rev. Doug Satre will be sharing about Floresta, a Christian nonprofit organization, that works to reverse deforestation and poverty in the world by transforming the lives of the rural poor. Please join us at the "Planting Hope Gala", scheduled for October 4.
Cowboy Poetry/Music and Chuck Wagon Meal on
Sunday, September 21 from 4:00—7:00 p.m.
The Village Church invites one and all to this great event. Highly acclaimed western artists Ken and Phee Graydon headline this event, along with George Dickey and Ken Bruner through poetry and song sharing their love of America’s ongoing cowboy heritage. There will be fun and games for children of all ages. Children 12 and under $5, everyone else $15. If you’ve got a hankerin’ for fun, BBQ and all things cowboy and western, gather with us on that day! Tickets will be available in the Patio or in the Church Office.
