The Village Church Preschool
...has provided a play based children's program for North County San Diego since 1964. Creative programs consisting of group directed play, self-directed play, crafts, music and chapel all offer arenas that assist each child's development physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
The Village Church Preschool Commission consists of parents as well as church members and staff. The "Parent Connection" provides drive, direction and dedication to an array of special events including: Family Nights at a local restaurant, Fall Festival, Spring Fling, Family Picnics, and Service Projects. Supporting families, partnering with the church, and enriching each child's life are our primary goals!
Childrens' Ministry
...knows that the kids in our ministry don't just need new songs to sing when it comes to worship ... they need to know that there's a really big God in whom they can trust no matter what; every day in every way!
Providing opportunities to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is what Childrens' Ministries is all about! Interactive occasions such as Family Fun Nights, Mother- Daughter Bible Study, Vacation Bible School, Forest Home Summer Camps, Kid's Music Choirs, and Service Events combined with solid Bible teaching provide opportunities for children to "Live Inside Out," letting faith make a difference.
The Village Youth
...offers a vast array of opportunities for our older kids. Junior and Senior High as well as college and young adults are offered many unique and fun options to grow in their faith while impacting their world, The Village Youth has a strong mission emphasis that will help them navigate these formative years in a positive, faith building way.
Introducing students to Jesus Christ in a new way and helping them through these years growing in faith and dependence upon God is our goal. This is accomplished by providing educational activities, service projects, mission trips, Bible studies, camps and more. No matter what their ages, "Kids + Christ" are what we're all about.
Adults Ministries
There are many programs getting underway to help explore God's Word through various group study opportunities:

Family Ministries
One of the reasons for the existence and ministry of The Village Community Presbyterian Church is to encourage and foster strong families. The family is the context in which people of all ages experience their primary relationships as well as learn about the foundational realities of life.
The goal of our Preschool, Childrens' Ministries, and The Village Youth is to serve the many and complex needs of our families. The church endeavors to help our families become key agents in teaching about the saving and renewing love of Jesus Christ to each successive generation.
The Village Community Theater
The Village Church Community Theater of North County San Diego is a regionally recognized fellowship of actors who present biblical and secular stories that explore and celebrate the Judaic/Christian traditions of life.
They present family entertainment focused around a morally inspired message to encourage the spiritual and fellowship dimension of the church and local community. They are comprised of church and community actors of all ages who are selected by auditions for their productions and committed to excellence.
The Village Christian Foundation
The Village Christian Foundation was formed in 2001 by authority of Session of The Village Community Presbyterian Church in order to be a ministry to givers.
It is governed by a separate board of church members who stand ready to help you in your Christian discipleship in the area of stewardship. Those who are given much have the wonderful opportunity to do much in return.
We can help you create a personal plan of action to achieve your goal of faithful financial stewardship that will support Christ’s mission here in San Diego and around the world.
