The Village Church Stephen Ministers have participated in over 50 hours of training in preparation for offering one-on-one, lay Christian care and companionship, while maintaining absolute confidentiality. Men and women serve for at least two years, with supervision and continuing education.

Members of the congregation in need of ongoing support in a time of bereavement, transition, divorce, job loss, or illness may wish to request a Stephen Minister to meet with them on a regular basis.
