Drama Ministry
The Village Church Community Theater of North County San Diego is a regionally recognized fellowship of actors who present biblical and secular stories that explore and celebrate the Judaic/Christian traditions of life.
They present family entertainment focused around a morally inspired message to encourage the spiritual and fellowship dimension of the church and local community of San Diego. They are comprised of church and community actors of all ages who are selected by auditions for their productions and committed to excellence.

A Rip Roaring Western Melodrama – A spectacular entertainment fraught with dramatic possibilities teaching the moral lesson, “Crime Does Not Pay.” Amada Goodsor, once a Boston society belle has come to Arizona to find employment in order to support her infant daughter. Alas, she must perform on the stage of Tombstone’s famous Birdcage Theater. So that her true identity is never revealed, Amanda sings in disguise and becomes known far and wide as The Masked Canary. Alas, the willy villain, Judge Mortimer Harshly and a pretty cohort, Peachy Jamm, discover Amada’s identity and decide to blackmail her. And the fun begins…and the audience adds to the fun by cheering the heroine and booing the villains. Special entertainment acts will be included between the scenes.
Friday and Saturday performances will include dinner.
