Total of 5 weddings in the Sanctuary and 0 receptions in the Fellowship Center.
The pastors officiated at several off-site weddings in addition to those listed above.
Although non-members, three of the brides attended Sunday School or the Nursery School as children and their families live in the area. They remember The Village Church from those days and chose it for this most important event.
The Village Church welcomed members of the greater Rancho Santa Fe community as well as guests from out of the area to these weddings. Most of the weddings had fewer than 200 in attendance.
We continue to welcome our wedding couples to our membership.
Due to the initial anticipated construction start, we turned away many potential weddings for 2007 which is reflected in the numbers for this report. So far in 2007, I have turned away 5 potential weddings.
