It is with a grateful heart we express our deep appreciation to our faithful leader, Dr. Keith Pagan. His devotion to Christ and his extensive knowledge of quality sacred music is clearly evident every Sunday. Dr. Pagan sensitively cares for all who participate in every aspect of music and drama.
The adult choirs faithfully provide beautiful music during the Sunday morning worship service throughout the year. Occasionally the choir’s professional soloists present vocal or instrumental music giving special meaning to the worship experience.
The four children’s choirs are effectively led by Director Katy Lundeen. Regular worship service choral pieces as well as special presentations provide the children with a place to use their talents and a means of ministry to their families, friends and community. Director Lundeen has a special ability to inspire young children to sing to the Lord with joy.
The Village Ringers, our bell choir, is under the capable direction of Director Marianne Schwartz. She and the 16 bell ringers provide beautiful and uplifting sacred music to the worship services.
This past year three excellent plays were presented under the direction of Director Margie Wood. This growing ministry has provided individuals from our congregation, with a wide range of ages, to practice and perform together. With a passion and commitment to provide worship through drama, Director Wood established and successfully provides leadership for the Drama Ministry since 2005.
The worshipful environments of the Sanctuary and Fellowship Center have been created by the work of Pat Dickinson and the numerous church members helping her throughout the year. Pat’s vision and talent is greatly appreciated.
The teams of ushers and servers of communion have provided the church and community members with a warm welcome as they worship on Sunday. Their thoughtful caring smiles speak of Christ’s love to all. A special thank you must be given to Dick Tibbetts and Bill and Betty Smith for their dedicated leadership.
The Village Church is truly blessed with the dedicated teams of directors, leaders, choir members, bell ringers, actors, decorators and helpers in every area of worship and ministry. We are a blessed congregation.
