ETSC was founded by Presbyterians in 1863 on the houseboat Ibis, which was used as a floating seminary for theological studies and practical training. This houseboat used to sail upriver from Aswan in the South to Cairo in the North, where students received lessons from their teachers in the morning and were then trained to do practical ministry in various villages in the evening.
In 1926, the current campus was established with the purchase of land in Al-Abbasiya in central Cairo. The seminary has grown to 400 students who are engaged in both theological study and practical ministry. With COVID-19 still very present the number of students studying online has increased dramatically and this has created an increased need for technological support.

A Heart For Children (AHFC) — founded on Christian principles and faith—serves the impoverished rural areas of Bali, Indonesia. We care for the orphans and widows, feed the hungry and clothe the naked, in obedience to Jesus’s teaching.
The center of our ministry is Michael’s Home, a safe house for orphans and abandoned children. “We care for the little ones…when no one else is able to support them.” The children receive food, clothing, education, health care, Christian teaching, love and safety. Many would otherwise be swept up into human trafficking. Lives are transformed.
Michael’s Home is also the center from which we serve the community, providing assistance to:
100% of all donations go directly to the children and widows we support. No overhead. All volunteer. USA registered 501(c)3 non-profit charity so donations are tax-deductible. For more information: aheartforchildren.org
ScholarLeaders International exists to encourage and enable Christian theological leaders from the Majority World for the Global Church. (Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East).
We support leaders as they earn PhDs in theology and related fields; since our founding, over 150 leaders have completed degrees and returned home to train pastors, missionaries, evangelists, and entrepreneurs.
We also guide Majority World seminaries to make wise long-term plans so that they can better equip students for ministry. We have particular interests in promoting women in theological leadership and in the Church in Muslim-majority contexts.
